School Counselors are often apprehensive about changing roles, and sometimes levels, within the profession. Come listen to two seasoned high school counselors talk about their unique paths and experiences in transitioning from the School Counselor role to Directors and beyond. Tips and Strategies will be shared.

Libby graduated from James Madison University undergraduate and received her Masters Degree in School Counselor Education from VCU. She was employed with Henrico County Schools for 10 years and is now the Director of School Counseling at Hanover HS.

Shannon graduated from Virginia Tech undergraduate and received her Masters Degree in School Counselor Education from VCU. She was employed with Henrico County Schools for 7.5 years and is now a Career Counselor with Hanover County.
