Session Abstract
English Learners face mounting pressure to acquire English literacy at a rapid pace, and writing is often a source of difficulty. This interactive session examines ways to build a writing community by valuing students' diverse languages and cultures and by emphasizing the importance of authentic writing and collaboration.
