Hormones 101 for Adults
Workshop Description
This session is designed to provide an overview of hormonal care for transgender and non-binary adult individuals. We will discuss the preliminary and ongoing care considerations needed and offer additional variables that need addressing. This includes care for those who identify as “nonbinary”, “genderqueer”, or other gender-expansive identities.

Linda Gromko has been interested in health care from the time she was a Candy Striper at age 14. After serving as a nurse practitioner at Planned Parenthood in Seattle, Linda completed her medical school education and family practice residency at the University of Washington School of Medicine. She established her independent family medical practice on Queen Anne in Seattle in 1989. Linda treats gender variant patients from age 5 through 85. She provides puberty blockers for youth, hormone management, and pre and post-operative care. Queen Anne Medical now provides laser and electrolysis hair removal with state-of-the art pain management, laser tattoo removal, and a variety of other services.
