Scaffolding Argumentative Writing for High School English Learners

In this session, the presenter will explain how the writing of arguments of fact and judgment was taught to two sections of early intermediate English learners in an urban high school.  The lessons and scaffolds used in this unit will be highlighted, and student work samples will be examined.
