Keeping Up with Trump: An Overview of Where We Are and What Might be Next

Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 8:30 AM–10:00 AM PDT
Sierra 6
Workshop Description

Trump has spent the last two years attempting to dismantle the hard-fought victories of the movement for transgender rights. Those attacks have significantly affected the daily lives of transgender and gender nonconforming people and the safety net of legal protections they rely on. This workshop will cover the ways—large and small—that the Trump administration is seeking to undermine the lives of transgender and gender nonconforming people, including practical and legal significance of those efforts. It will also address how individuals can help push back against these changes.
