Sustaining Student Interest When Using Sustained Reading Content

Session Abstract

Using authentic sustained reading content is great acacdemic preparation for students in IEP programs.  The content serves as a natural generator for all skill areas.  However, sustaining student interest in the content can be challenging.  This presentation will suggest ways to maintain student interest throughout the semester.
