This facilitated discussion is for parents and caregivers of gender diverse youth-of-color to share experiences, stories, questions and camaraderie. This session is exclusively for both families-of-color and mixed-race families.

Presenter Bio

Miko Uhuru is a loving husband and father to a beautiful young adult son. Miko is an ally to the LGBTQ + community, and he blends his affirming Christian faith to demonstrate love, respect, and kindness to all. Miko enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, as well as staying physically active.
