Workshop Description

This presentation will breakdown the definitions and concepts regarding gender, including identity, expression, binary, spectrum, and go into a brief overview of some common identities that fall within the non-binary community. Gender grammar, pronouns, and the Gender Unicorn will be used to apply the concepts.

Georgie Kelly (they) has been working in private practice almost exclusively with the trans, non-binary, and gender questioning community for over 3 years under the supervision of Darlene Tando, LCSW. They have a Master's degree in Counseling and a Bachelor's in Psychology, and they are registered as an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor in California. Georgie identifies with the non-binary community and enjoys sharing both their personal experience and professional expertise with others. They have a passion for education and for working with LGBTQ+ youth.
