Abstract
Too often our students of color must navigate environments where they are roses tasked with emerging from concrete. They must endure the same challenges and stressors that all plants do plus the natural consequences that come with navigating social systems that were designed in direct opposition to their well-being. In this interactive session we will explore ways to transform concrete to fertile soil that supports trajectories which lead towards life -- not death -- for all students.
