Abstract

The school-to-prison pipeline can be a sad reality among African-American boys. Professional School counselors counselors can play a vital role in halting this trajectory. This presentation will highlight and address the family, community, and school factors that contribute to this phenomenon. Strategies for halting the pipeline will be put forward for school counseling practitioners and stakeholders.
