2019 Annual Conference

The Externship is an opportunity for school counselors to observe and interact with local companies, while gaining real-world industry experience to share with faculty and students. School Counselors gain exposure to the workplace, develop connections with professionals, and incorporate new information and new ways of teaching into their work. Students gain information on specific careers and learn subject material and skills in their classes from the perspective of the professionals who use them daily.
