Abstract
Augusta University's counseling center director, a staff counselor, and a school counselor educator will present current research on immigrant youth in Georgia and then discuss clinical issues, with supporting data, among immigrant youth who seek counseling services at Augusta University. Clinicians and school counselor educator will facilitate discussion around strengths and challenges counseling immigrant youth and facilitating the transition to college. A group intervention for immigrant college readiness will be proposed.
