Abstract

LIBstick (Library Sticker) is a simple and quick template-based service to print book labels. It was developed by Technion Library IS (Information System) as a SaaS based architecture that allows for reduced installation effort, gathering statistics and template reuse.

Libraries need to print spine labels for their analog book collections. Ex Libris Alma - world leading library management solution (~1500 users) is missing this functionality. Ex Libris recommends SpineOMaticine - a limited, free solution with no support. Technion library team developed LIBstick to answer this need. The Alma community, worldwide, can benefit from using LIBstick.
