Abstract
Facilitating access to resources is a key priority of libraries. Some electronic resources can be discovered through the library's discovery layer while others cannot be found using this route. Different library tools are required to facilitate access to these "undiscovered" resources.
Despite the increasing difficulty in electronic resource management, the library user’s experience in accessing electronic resources should be improving. With a fair proportion of electronic resources still behind paywalls, what methods and tools should we be utilising to ensure that our resources can be easily accessed?
In this session, the panelists will discuss how they recommend facilitating improved access to electronic resources in discovery layers and beyond.
