Transgender medical care is not a one-size-fits-all and this session will delve into some of the complexities that can and do arise. If you want to deepen your knowledge, please join this session let by Dane Elliot Menkin, CRNP as he shares some of the complex cases encountered within his practitioner career.

Presenter Bio

Dane is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Divisional Director of LGBTQ Services at Main Line Health. Dane is involved with both clinical practice as well as the development of the Pediatric and Adolescent Comprehensive Trans Services (PACTS) which provides care for gender non-conforming children and adolescents.
Dane has a special interest in LGBTQ+ health and has presented nationally. His focus is on the practical application of guidelines for primary care providers working with the trans-population. He is currently faculty at Simmons University School of Nursing. He serves on the Jim Collins Board and is a contributor to the Lyon Martin Transline, a national hotline for clinicians seeking assistance in managing transgender patients.
