Abstract

As students with ADHD attempt to navigate their way through school, they may encounter unique challenges related to their diagnosis. In this session, we will explore the three presentations of ADHD and the misconceptions and labels that students with ADHD often face. Presenters will demonstrate innovative accommodations, interventions and strategies that can assist in removing barriers for students with ADHD so they can ultimately be academically, socially and emotionally successful.
