Abstract

School counselor educators are tasked with the responsibility of ensuring that students possess the knowledge, abilities, and skills of multicultural competence. Using strategies that encourage both self-exploration and self-evaluation can be especially important when helping students to respond to and engage with cultural content in articles and textbooks. This presentation will provide strategies to help enhance the learning experience for school counselors-in-training in their quests to create multiculturally competent CSCP's and services.
