Abstract
A positive school climate fosters development in students and is a protective factor, particularly for at-risk student populations. Negative school climate leads to many adverse outcomes, such as low student achievement and eroding staff morale. In this interactive session, school counselors will explore best practices in restorative justice when working alongside administrators to improve school climate. Attendees will receive handouts and other relevant materials to help cultivate a positive school climate in their school communities.
