Abstract
Students receiving special services such as ESOL and EIP can present low self-esteem and low self-efficacy in regards to their academic ability. This presentation will discuss how school counselors can implement a peer reading and leadership program to support social-emotional and academic success for all students including those receiving special services using Julia Cooks' social-emotional learning series.
