Social Emotional Learning
Abstract
Social Emotional Learning directly impacts student achievement. As a counselor, we must find innovative avenues to verify the validity and efficacy of our lessons and groups. As educators, we are aware of how literacy exposure can close the student achievement gap. What if SEL and literacy exposure were infused to address these two dire needs into our classroom curriculum. Would you be willing to try this approach, if you were provided step-by-step instructions?
