Abstract

Ethical decision-making in school counseling can be challenging. The ASCA National Model gives us several tools to promote sound decision-making in the field-- decisions that are in line with our ethical obligations. This presentation will provide participants with a refresher on the ASCA Ethical Decision-Making Model, a discussion around why this is often easier said than done, and and overview of research indicating why this structure of decision-making is important to our profession.
