"Alma Records Have All Been Published Successfully to Primo" – Believe it or Not?

Abstract
The daily scheduled procedures of harvesting and publishing Alma records to Primo are not always reliable. EXL Salesforces sometimes may even not immediately realize the publishing pipes are stuck, and/or Alma records have been failed to be published to Primo on some problematic days.
The systems librarians in Hong Kong Baptist University Library have recently developed a new full automatic computer program to monitor and keep track the status of Alma-Primo publishing procedures. If a delay in daily scheduled publishing pipe is detected, the program will generate an alert email to library staff automatically. This new computer program also provides a clear and comprehensive date-time log for searching a new published Alma record in Primo every day. This log report, available at http://lib-nt.hkbu.edu.hk/primo_record_check/home.asp , provides external evidence for ensuring all new updated Alma records are published successfully and synchronized with Primo.
