Proposal Summary

A recurring theme in our society is centered around inclusiveness. The more we seem to be "connected", via Social Media and increased mobility, the more reports of loneliness and isolation are made. There is an increasing level of anxiety, emptiness and depression among young people and mature adults alike.

In this dynamic presentation, we will share how an Afro-Brazilian martial-art combats these experiences, uniting people cross-culturally by teaching them to Go with the Flow.

Key points include:
o People naturally form tribes/communities
o Self-awareness amid chaos
o Flowing with change
o connecting through music, movement, language
o overcoming adversity and stress through movement
o Creating space (inclusiveness) while maintaining boundaries
o Following intuition, recognizing patterns
o Diversity and inclusiveness increases organizational productivity and contributes to sustainable growth
Change your mindset, gain a different perspective on the world by seeing everything as the capoeira circle (roda). This powerful talk is important, relevant, and inspirational.
