Integrative Cancer Care
Proposal Summary
Providing Integrative Cancer care for patients on Medicaid, Medicare, or uninsured has been very challenging outside of large cancer centers such as Sloan or MD Anderson. In this 1 hour interactive panel discussion 3 MDs: oncologist, integrative medicine, and palliative medicine, will discuss how in their own settings they achieve this goal. Representing 2 major academic centers and stand alone integrative medicine 501c3 panelists will go over different strategies ranging from individual visits under insurance, philanthropy based, grants, and medical shared group model.
