Exercises to Improve Posture and Strength from an Osteopathic perspective
Proposal Summary
This 60min presentation will teach participants three simple exercises that can be done throughout the day to improve posture, body alignment, and strength. These can be taught to patients, witch can be particularly helpful for those who cannot yet access Physical Therapy for a variety of reasons, as a way to start to improve balance, agility, and chronic pain. If time allows, modifications of the basics will be explained and demonstrated, questions and case studies will be discussed, and additional simple exercises to counteract sitting and specific common pain complaints will be taught as well.
