Session Abstract

Students with Limited or Interrupted Formal Education (SLIFE) at the secondary level are often enrolled in “mainstream” ESL and SEI classrooms. The unique conditions of SLIFE, however, require a rethinking of how to scaffold for their divergent needs. The presenters share instructional strategies to create a rich learning environment.
