Lessons Learned from a History-Based Summer ELL Program

Session Abstract

In July 2013, 40 rising 9th-12th grade ELLs from Salem participated in a four-week content-based enrichment academy at Salem State University that focused on the history of work in Massachusetts.  Presenters will discuss the design of the program, present data on student and teacher outcomes, and share considerations for similar future programs.
