Will Humans Be Second? Critical Choices for the Coming AI-First World
Program Description
In the decade ahead, association decision-makers will have to confront the serious and far-reaching impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on every aspect of human endeavor. AI’s rapid integration into myriad industries, professions, and fields raises many hard questions about the future of life and work, including what makes us human and how human beings will contribute to a world of increasingly ubiquitous and powerful machine intelligence. This high-impact session will examine some of AI’s most significant ethical considerations, their real-world implications and the critical choices they create today. In addition, participants will discuss the next practices their associations can adopt to prepare stakeholders for the challenges and opportunities of the coming AI-first world.
NOTE: This session qualifies for the CAE ethics credit(s) required as of 2020 for renewal.
