Planning for a Recession
Program Description
Good planning can help in hard times. Most economists are predicting a contraction in the markets in 2020 and although it isn't here yet, it's a good time to start thinking about strategies you can implement now to ensure your association can ride through any
economic turbulence that might be over the horizon. A holistic approach that includes potential consequences for your governance, finance, staffing, and communications can help you weather any economic storm.
Participants will:
- Explore ways to recession-proof their operations
- Develop a better understanding of how economic cycles typically impact associations
- Leave with practical ideas they can implement on both short- and long-term planning cycles
