At the end of this session, participants will understand the steps necessary to implement a new datasource in Primo, using OAI harvesting, including:
- Datasources
- Pipes
- Scopes
- Normalization rules
Although this session focuses on EAD records, the approach is adaptable to other types of data sources.
Learning Outcome #2
At end of this session, participant will be aware of some of the specific considerations for integrating EAD records, such as the collection description vs. the container list, dealing with very large metadata records, and what the records represent.
