Applying Transformative Learning in Teaching
Autoethnography as a method and teaching tool can be powerfully transformative in the higher education classroom. In this 45-minute interactive session, Dr. Jessica Gullion will share how she taught Autoethnography in a four-week online course. Participants will have an opportunity to engage with autoethnography, and students who attended the course will describe their experiences in the course and the transformative impact it had. The goal of this session is to introduce autoethnography as a tool in educators' critical pedagogy toolkits.
