Expanding Transformative Learning Contexts

When beginning research, an individual or team will set out with a goal in mind. Even if it was unplanned, research can result in opportunities for transformative growth. Attendees will participate in an activity that will help them form a visual representation of the diversity in their everyday life. They will then be led through the research of the presenter and the disorienting dilemma they encountered. The outcome is to provide participants the opportunity to examine unforeseen opportunities for growth and transformation that can appear during the course of any research.
