The Los Angeles Unified School District Career Ladder will present how data and research is used to implement a “grow your own program” model to provide equity and access to teaching pathways to underrepresented groups within our classified workforce. In our presentation we will discuss: professional development for paraeducators, mentoring, financial reimbursement and the successes and the effectiveness of LAUSD’s Career Ladder.
