Short Description
This workshop will provide an introduction to the Lewis-Clark State College PACE program (Pathways to Accelerated Certification & Endorsement), and ways that we help our diverse group of students successfully complete a rigorous program and land a job quickly! We will share insights into how instructors and supervisors serve as mentors and coaches to provide pre-service teachers support while they develop strong skills to become classroom ready teachers. In addition, we will discuss the important aspects of school - work - life balance and ways that mentors and instructors in our program guide students to completion. Activities during the presentation will provide attendees with insights and ideas that can be used to support students during their journey. You will hear from students as well as instructors in the program.
