Short Description
Title: Tracking & Reporting Success: Individualized Plans for Teacher Candidates
Hook: Do you struggle synthesizing and analyzing data for annual reports? Does your educator preparation program admit candidates in multiple certification areas? Does your program have candidates on multiple tracks at the same time? If you answered yes to any of these questions, this is the session for you.
Purpose: Attendees will participate in rich discussion around data collection and reporting, monitoring candidate progress toward completion, and content-specific mentorship in alternate certification programs. The goal of this session is to share practical tips on how program directors can develop individualized plans and participant record forms for teacher candidates, keep track of candidate progress, and report outcomes to both internal and external stakeholders during annual reporting cycles.
Outcome: Participants will explore new and innovative ways to track student progress. Samples of the individualized plans and participant record forms will be available at the end of the session. Institutions will be able to customize them to meet their unique needs.
