Short Description

During this session, participants will engage in a conversation about implicit bias. This highly interactive session will introduce attendees to bias we all have and address ways to reduce its impact. This self-reflective walk into our biases is designed to alert each of us of the opportunities to improve our actions. By acknowledging our bias, we can foster an environment in our educational settings to be more inclusive of the students, families, staff, and other stakeholders. Strategies will be introduced to encourage all to embrace our differences and expand the way we support diversity in the educational setting.
