PLENARY SPEAKER: ADAM MINTERAdam Minter is a columnist with Bloomberg Opinion based in Malaysia. From 2002 to 2014, Adam lived in Shanghai, where he reported on the global scrap recycling trade for trade and general interest publications, from Vice to the Wall Street Journal. In 2013, Adam added "author" to his resume with the publication of his first book, "Junkyard Planet: Travels in the Billion Dollar Trash Trade." His most recent book, "Secondhand: Travels in the New Global Garage Sale," is a deep dive into the world of used stuff - and what it tells us about consumerism and the environment. |
