Abstract

Professional School Counselors can serve, lead, and inspire students, staff, and parents by connecting stakeholders to Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), mindfulness, and mental health supports.  Understanding how trauma can impact learning and behavior, as well as, prevention and intervention practices are essential components in reaching today's students. Teaching SEL, resiliency, mindfulness, and good habits promotes healthy bodies and minds and benefits all students. Learn best practices and strategies to make positive connections in your school.
