Abstract

The goal of this session is to provide information to Professional School Counselors, Counselor Educators, Supervisors and Counseling Students concerning the various steps that are required to become a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia.  Participants will receive detailed information regarding the associated educational, internship, supervision, application and examination requirements. Obtaining this licensure will provide counselors with additional opportunities to increase mental health awareness to all stakeholders.
