Issues in Counseling
Abstract
Counselors spend most days focused on supporting students and staff handle their stressors. Given the pandemic we all experienced, effective strategies are certainly needed to support all our clients. Additionally, counselors need preventative and intervention strategies to combat the vicarious trauma they face. We will utilize research to explore best practices for supporting our students and staff while learning to practice effective self-care regimens for ourselves.
