All events will be held online. It is worth noting that all times in the program are quoted in British Summer Time (BST ; = UTC+1).

Request a Resource - One simple way
Conference or Developers' Day
Developers' Day (30 min session)
Session Abstract
Over the years we've accrued a multitude of different forms and methods for users to request content from the library, many of these requiring them to understand library terminology and how we acquire content. As part of a lean review into content purchasing we looked at how this process can be made simpler for both our users and library staff, the result of this being our 'Resource Request Service', a single place to request something from the library.
In this session we'll look at how we took an iterative approach to developing a single place our users could request resources from the library but also a single place our staff could view and manage these request, ultimately choosing the most appropriate fulfilment method. We'll dive into how this links up to Alma and the CLA's DCS but also look at ways we can make our staff's lives easier by integrating with other systems such as Primo, reduced the need to switch out to different systems.
