Session Abstract
Going into our second summer on Alma, the Consortium of MnPALS Libraries has experienced many issues that led to cluttered information in Alma and Primo VE for our Electronic Resources. We had been planning a push to clean up these collections during Summer 2020. Because of COVID-19 closures and within a few weeks, we made a hard shift in our model for commonly held collections to fast-track activating over 100 collections in our NZ to be made available for our institutions on an opt-in basis. This caused us to reexamine our permanent management model and cleanup methods. We will discuss what changes we decided to make permanently to our management model and how we choose to continue with our data cleanup campaign. This presentation is aimed at institutions and consortiums who have been live in Alma for a few months and feel comfortable managing electronic collections.
