Proposal Abstract (Please briefly describe the content of your proposal)
The Citizen Engagement Division at Central Michigan University promotes the cultivation of civic identity essential to democratic citizenship through the deliberative production of public goods. The presentation summarizes the early impact of efforts to institutionalize these learning experiences, through certificate programs, a deliberative practicum, and campus-community deliberative service learning projects.
