Proposal Abstract (Please briefly describe the content of your proposal)
This session will explore the development of civic pathways for Latino students at De Anza College and California State University, East Bay, through the LEAD program at De Anza and the GANAS program at CSUEB. Using a cohort model that emphasizes community-based work and mutual support in student "familia," this project aims to significantly increase the number of Latino community college students successfully matriculating at a partner university.
