Proposal Abstract (Please briefly describe the content of your proposal)
MTSU’s environmental improvements have been significant recently, including increased recycling, cleaner air, electric vehicles, and similar initiatives. What the university has done less well has been linking green actions to our regional sociopolitical and ecological challenges such as mountaintop removal. More solar power on campus means a more vibrant Appalachia.
