Proposal Abstract (Please briefly describe the content of your proposal)
"What is Democracy?" seeks to understand the public definition of "democracy." ADP members use the term readily, but students and citizens must grapple with the concepts for themselves. My presentation evaluates people's beliefs about the exercise of government as democracy and people's thoughts about their roles in social progress.
