Abstract
Advocating for the needs of all students requires understanding and responding to the current issues that impact students, schools, and our communities. This session will focus on strengthening advocacy skills beyond the school walls, responding to current state and national policies and legislation, and building stakeholder partnerships. The GSCA Advocacy chairs, as well as Georgia Legislators, will be on hand reviewing hot topics for the 2022 legislative session, answer questions, and to hear concerns.
