Comprehensive School Counseling Program

Abstract

This interactive session will explore how we can use diverse historical leaders to inspire students to be change agents within their schools. Learn how one elementary counseling program provides students with opportunities to develop problem-solving, collaboration, and leadership skills while addressing school concerns. Attendees will learn how to develop a data-driven student leadership program that focuses on students' voice, social responsibility, and advocacy to reduce office discipline referrals and improve school climate.
