Session Abstract
A course in film and culture for a college population with low English skills (370-450 TOEFL) presents many challenges, particularly teaching content without lecturing. This session looks at strategies that include utilizing the internet, small group discussion, and choosing appropriate materials to create a successful and memorable class.
