Abstract
In recent years, there has been a shift in societal norms resulting in racial, ethnic, and gender divides and debates among students. The need for educators to address the concerns and questions of students is essential and must be done with empathy and skill. This presentation will begin a conversation on the concept of privilege and microaggression so that educators can be better equipped to address conversations and conflicts that may arise among students.
